Are K-Cups instant coffee?
No, they’re not. Let me explain. Instant coffee is when you take coffee powder or crystals and put it directly into your cup. You can put as much as you like. The more you put the stronger the coffee will be. After you put the coffee, you add hot water and stir. You may add a sweetener and that’s it. A K-Cup is more like a regular filtered coffee but just in single serve portion. The K-Cup is a small cup filled with coffee. It has a filter on the bottom with a little hole for it to drip. It is sealed of course to keep it fresh. That’s it. Try it!
Are K-Cups recyclable?
The short answer is yes, but it involves a little work on your part. Each one of these materials can be easily recycled, but they must be separated with each part going into the correct bin.
